Warning: This message has not yet been sent for an unknown reason.
1). The initial number of lived in vehicles (trailers) was 9 and it went up to 32.
2). We count the caravans on the site but do not monitor the other vehicles. The Police may monitor these if they have an appropriate reason for doing so.
3) Civil Enforcement Officers working on behalf of the council have been asked to report the location of such vehicles initially so that the traveller liaison team can be made aware of their presence. The council takes the health and safety of staff and contractors seriously and will decide whether enforcement action to remove the vehicles should be made through issuing Penalty Charge Notices or by issuing eviction notices or both.
4) In this instance eviction notices were issued rather than Penalty Charge Notices.
