Dear Transport for London,
Please can you provide any documentation as to where training is provided to London Underground gateline staff and also drivers of bus services overseen by TfL on acceptance of London Travelcards issued at Heathrow stations on Heathrow Express (blue) ticket stock.
Yours faithfully,
Mike Wooldridge

Dear Mr Wooldridge
TfL Ref: FOI-0824-1819
Thank you again for your email received by Transport for London (TfL) on
26 June 2018.
Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of
the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and TfL’s information access policy.
Unfortunately, from the description provided, we are unable to identify
the information you require. To enable us to assist with your request,
please provide a more detailed description of the information you’re
seeking together with any other details you think might help us locate the
information you require.
We are not completely clear on what you require. Travelcards issued by any
other operator should be encoded to work the gates at all TfL stations
within the zones covered, so there should be no need for staff to check
individual tickets, unless they have failed for some reason.
You also asked “and also drivers of bus services overseen by TfL on
acceptance of London Travelcards issued at Heathrow stations on Heathrow
Express (blue) ticket stock.” Did you mean replacement buses?
Please note that the 20 working day deadline for responding to your
request will depend on when we receive satisfactory additional
information to help clarify your request.
If we hear nothing further from you by 30 July 2018 your response will be
treated as a new request.
In the meantime, if you have any queries or would like to discuss your
request, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Yours sincerely

Dear FOI,
To clarify, I'm referring to the blue travelcards issued by Heathrow Airport (under their Heathrow Express subsidiary)-operated ticket offices and TVMs/POMs. An example of this style can be found here: https://i2.wp.com/www.transportedbytechn...
As you can see, it has no roundel on the front and no clear Day Travelcard markings at the top, so I'm looking for the documentation where bus drivers are trained that these tickets are accepted on their services. To clarify, I'm referring to London buses in general and not RRBs specifically.
Yours sincerely,
Mike Wooldridge
