Travel Provided To DG
Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,
I would like please to know what travel benefits are afforded to Director General Tim Davie.
- Does Mr Davie receive a company car or allowance?
- Does Mr Davie have access to a private driver either provided by the BBC or paid for by the BBC, if yes, is this a shared driver or one for Mr Davie's exclusive use?
- Does Mr Davie have freedom to use taxis that are billed to the BBC or an allowance for taxi use? If so and there is an allowance, how much is that?
- Is Mr Davie provided an allowance or reimbursement for train journeys to and from his home for work purposes?
- Is there a limit for the amount of nights in hotels Mr Davie is able to use for business purposes that are paid for by the BBC? If so what is the limit either in nights, cost or both
If you cannot answer all of these as it would go over your internal costs, please answer as many as possible and I will file the remaining questions in a seperate foi.
Yours faithfully,
Jon Carner
