Dear Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council,
Wirral Council granted planning application APP/14/00629 on the 8th August 2014. A condition of this planning application was that within 6 months of occupation a travel plan was to be submitted to the Local Planning Authority (Wirral Council).
The building was occupied in September 2015, so I presume Wirral Council received this Travel Plan by March 2016.
Due to what is in this Travel Plan, I consider this to be a request under the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 as defined by reg 2(1) of the Environmental Information Regulations 2004.
Moving to regulation 6 (1) of the Environmental Information Regulations 2004, I am requesting that the information be supplied in an electronic format such as a PDF file.
I remind you of your duty to provide advice and assistance to those making a request (regulation 9 EIR 2004) and that the information requested (or a reasoned argument for refusal in full or in part) should be sent no later than 20 working days after receipt of this request.
As it may be of assistance to you in finding the Travel Plan, the applicant for this planning application was Peel Investments (Intermediate) Ltd, the agent Turley and the occupier of the building is Wirral Metropolitan College.
Dear Mr Brace
We write further to your recent request for information under the
Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (“EIRs”)
Please see the attached framework travel plan submitted in June 2015. We
have also attached the 2016 survey undertaken with WMC staff from across
all Birkenhead campuses and can advise that our business travel support
team were also involved in the organisation of a sustainable travel event
at the Tower Road site. We do not have a specific updated travel plan
that was submitted after occupation.
