1) The total number of flights which staff have taken and the total spend.
2) The total number separate nights spent in hotel stays (and the number of nights per stay, per member of staff) and the total spend.
3) and a comparison spread sheet which considers the cost of train/car transport and no overnight stays.

NHS England holds some information relevant to your request.

 

Please note NHS England became a statutory body on 1 April 2013. The
following information is correct as of July 2013.

 

1. The total number of flights taken by NHS England staff in the above
time period is 186. The total spend for this is £64,184.64

 

2. The total number of separate nights spent in hotel accommodation by NHS
England staff in the above time period is 4588. The total spend for this
is £421, 356.88. Please see the attached spreadsheet for a breakdown of
the number of nights per stay, per member of staff. Please note, each row
represents one member of staff.

 

3. Information on this is not routinely collated.
