Your freedom of information request dated 29 December, 2023, and
sportscotland’s response, are detailed below.

I wish to make an FOI request. Please provide me with the following
information for the financial years 2020/21, 2021/22, 2022/23.

All expenditure made by your organisation, in every facet of its
operations and purview, on translation, interpretation, and language
services.

Please provide the aggregated total spent by your organisation and then,
if possible, please provide this broken down by particular function for
which the service was carried out.

The main translation area is Gaelic, as sportscotland has responsibilities
under the Gaelic Language (Scotland) Act 2005, and translation is
available on request.

The costs from our Communications team budget were as follows:-

• 2020/21 Financial Year - £681.10
• 2021/22 Financial Year - £1,169.70
• 2022/23 Financial Year - £1,738.90

To help us, we would be grateful if you could acknowledge receipt of this
response for our records. If you are not satisfied with our response, you
are entitled to ask us to review our decision. You must make this request
within 40 working days of the date of this response, explaining why you
think we should carry out a review, stating the information request to
which this review relates, and the name and address of the applicant for
correspondence. Review requests should be sent to Head of Finance,
sportscotland, Doges, Templeton on the Green, 62 Templeton Street,
Glasgow, G40 1DA. Further information on our Freedom of Information
