Transfer of Ex-Leasehold Properties and Debt into Housing Revenue Account

Sabine Mairey made this Freedom of Information request to Homes for Lambeth Automatic anti-spam measures are in place for this older request. Please let us know if a further response is expected or if you are having trouble responding.

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Homes for Lambeth should have responded by now (details). The person who made the request can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Homes for Lambeth,

Lambeth Council has spent millions of pounds buying back leaseholder properties as they are blighted by regeneration, the brownfield listing and the Secrion 20 notice.

Lambeth now hopes to transfer these homes into the HRA. My question is will the debt or part of the debt also be transferred into the HRA?

If yes, how much is going to be transferred? (Or about how much if there is no exact figure?)

What percentage (or roughly what percentage) of the total spent does this represent?

Thank you,

Yours faithfully,

Sabine Mairey
