Tranmere Road automatic traffic count survey

The request was successful.

Dear Wandsworth Borough Council,

I am requesting a copy of the data from the latest Automatic Traffic Count Survey in Tranmere Road, Earlsfield, which I believe was in September-October 2020 situated outside 11 Tranmere Road. I would like the same data as provided for previous similar requests which have been granted for such data - in electronic form with separate Excel workbooks for each direction with the data within split by day and vehicle type.

It is important that the data from this survey are made public given the following reasons:

* the ATC survey is within the confines of a school street and the efficacy of such schemes is under debate

* the speeds on Tranmere Road have increased significantly since the road-humps were lowered and the public needs to be aware of the latest data

* at times during the running of the survey, the street was affected by a closure on Magdalen Road, the data may therefore offer important lessons about the impact of such closures on side-roads

Yours faithfully,

David Knight
