Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Please provide the training materials which are used to educate frontline DWP i.e Jobcentreplus, workers about the internal guidance in regard to the 6 month rule and surplus earnings in regard to universal credit.

I am interested in worked examples that are used to illustrate the effects of the 6 month rule and surplus earnings in different claimant scenarios. I understand such worked examples form part of the training literature for frontline DWP staff.

Additionally, please provide any guidance that is provided to DWP decision makers to inform their decisions in regard to surplus earnings and the 6 month rule.

Yours faithfully,

Florence Elizabeth Constance Daisley
