training Juniors & duty of cre

We're waiting for Colin Lindley to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear Ministry of Defence,
under training at The Guards Depot , Pirbright , Surrey in the 1980s as junior entrants,
are you aware of any acts by Training staff,P.T.I.s that are of the same nature as the
Deep Cut Bullying scandal ? & which resulted in juniors leaving the colours well before this
became a reported event & therefore their treatment by training staff has not been recorded .& has any review of training by the Guards Division through this time period been done so as to learn how long bad training methods were used & how this morphed into the Deep Cut abuse of young recruits?

Yours faithfully,

Colin Lindley

Dear Army Sec-&Group (MULTIUSER),just that having issues over Pirbright Guards Training of
Junior recruits in the 1980s & wondered if the 'Deepcut Suicide Investigation' had explored training methods at this time {I.R.A. alerts security wouldn't allow armed patrols wooden pick axe handles instead} ,ammunition wasn't kept with weapons & no staff were allowed to wonder around with armed weapons even at the height of I.R.A. troubles ,senior staff didn't trust their troops in Surrey with bullets, All Guards P.T.I.s were acting in ways that since discovered would have been seen as abuse in the Para. Regiments Training of the same period, add this to the nationalism & racisms plus the Household Divisions R.S.M.s comment 'nether be coloureds in the Guards' , I am interested to understand what events that enabled the Deepcut Scandal to evolve as it did had their origin in the training practices that were employed at the Guards Depot Pirbright Surrey & Which seem to be of a different order & based on different attitude to the training & care of vulnerable young recruits & the methods being employed by the majority of the British Army's Training of Junior Ranks in other Regiments was any investigation done concerning any of these issues?
Are records kept of Junior Recruit to the Guards Depot in the 1980s?
1The numbers left the Colours before 6 months?
2Numbers who wanted to leave in 6 months but were refused due to parental decision?
3 Number of Attempted suicides or self harm to Junior Recruits at the Guards Depot in training in the 1980s?
4 Were there any deaths of Junior Recruits?
5 Ifso what were the causes?
6 Does this information include junior Leaders?
7 Were there any issues concerning the inapropriate actions of training staff towards Junior
Recruits bought to the atention of the Command Staff ie[What was known by The Guards Commandant in his 'Kremlin']?

Yours sincerely,

Colin Lindley
