I have requested any training manuals, guidance and material provided to health
professionals (HP)s at Capita for evaluating a Personal Independent Payment (PIP)
application and assessment reports.
In the second part of my request, I have asked for any training manuals, guidance and
material to include handouts provided to Capita when inputting a decision on and recording
their findings on an applicant after a telephone or face to face consultation.
I can clarify my request refers to any training manuals, guidance and
material for HPs undertaking PIP assessments by telephone or face-to-face.this can include any slides and./ or training manuals to include role plays and scenarios plus tests such as cognitive and memory

are issued to all their HPs and updated regularly. They are written by charities and
representative groups to give HPs insight into the lived experience of disabled people.
I understand they have CIRs covering an array of conditions; therefore, I submit a new
request specifying which condition(s) I would like information on.
