Dear Department for Infrastructure (Northern Ireland),

Given the number of fallen trees blocking roads during the recent Storm Darragh,

Please outline the following:

Number of staff currently trained in the use of chainsaws within department by department area(or Roads division)
Cost of training per staff member in the use of chainsaws
Process involved in training staff in the use of chainsaw (i.e. is this training conducted in house or outsourced?)

How many trained chainsaw operators were on duty during Storm Darragh (7th December 2024)
