Train overcrowding data

Anna Smith made this Freedom of Information request to Department for Transport

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was partially successful.

Dear Department for Transport,

Please could I request details of the most congested measured trains on the rail network for which complete data is available?

The DfT has released this information previously under the Freedom of Information Act in 2008, and therefore I assume there is no financial or legal issue with releasing it again.

For your information, you can see the DfT's FoI response, and the full list of the most congested trains on 2007 data, here:

In 2008, the request was for details of only the most 20 most congested services. However, please supply me with details of all the services for which the most recent complete data is available, in the same format as the 2008 request.

Thank you very much for your help.

Yours faithfully,

Anna Smith
