Dear ETE Policy and Business Support,

The information I have received appears to relate to the Mandatory Cycle Lanes that have been in existence on Hills Road and Huntingdon Road for some years. The information I requested concerned the TROs for the new part-segregated and part-raised cycleways on these roads. I do not believe these new cycleways are governed by the TROs for the previous Mandatory Cycle Lanes because a) they are not complaint with the road markings required for Mandatory Cycle Lanes, and b) it was indicated by council representatives at consultation meetings that new TROs would be produced for these cycleways.

I am therefore requesting copies of these new TROs or copies of drafts/proposals if new TROs have not yet been implemented.

Yours sincerely,

J Wilson

Dear Mr Wilson,

I can confirm that the cycle lanes that you are referring to on Hills Road and Huntingdon Road (the new part-segregated, part-raised cycleways) do not have TROs. These cycle lanes are part of the carriageways.

Kind regards

Georgina
