Traffic Regulation Orders for 20mph Limits in WODC / Witney Area
Dear Oxfordshire County Council,
Witney recently introduced 20mph speed limits that cover the majority of the roads in the town. It is my understanding that, in order to render the 20mph limits legally enforceable, a valid Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) must be in place.
Please provide copies of any TROs relating to the 20mph speed limits in and around the Witney area. This request specifically pertains to the following roads at a minimum;
I have included Unique Street Reference Numbers (USRNs) for convenience.
* Newland (USRN: 43600717)
* Oxford Hill (USRN: 43600751)
* Tower Hill (USRN: 43601049)
* Burford Road (USRN: 43600130)
* Mill Street (USRN: 43600685)
* Witan Way (USRN: 43601129)
* Welch Way (USRN: 43601088)
* West End (USRN: 43601096)
* High Street (USRN: 43600488)
* Corn Street (USRN: 43600268)
Any TROs relating other roads subject to the 20mph limits in Witney, however, would also be welcome.
Yours faithfully,
Charles Newey
