FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 - INFORMATION REQUEST

 

Thank you for your request for information received on 22nd January 2019.
We have considered your request and enclose the following information -

 

I am looking to find out if the following traffic regulation orders
proposed in 2017 have been implemented and made and if so where were they
advertised -

 

(1) Caerphilly County Borough Council Zebra Crossing Islwyn High School,
Waterloo, Oakdale

 

Pedestrian crossings do not require a Traffic Regulation Order.  They can
be introduced following notice being given under Section 23 of the Road
Traffic Act 1984.  Notices were erected 21 days prior to the crossing
being installed.

 

(2) Caerphilly County Borough Council A469 Thornhill Road Experimental
40mph speed limit Order 2016

 

The 40mph on A469 in Thornhill was advertised in the Caerphilly Campaign
on 23/2/2016.

thank you however can you confirm the Zebra Crossing Islwyn High School was then installed???

and you stated

We confirm that (i) the Zebra Crossing was installed in August 2017, and
(ii) the permanent traffic order for the A469 is yet to be made.
