Traffic Regulation Order - Adoption of land as part of a highway
Dear Sefton Borough Council,
Please supply information in respect of the following:
A) A copy of all Traffic Regulation Orders relating to the restriction and or prohibition of waiting on Alma Road, Birkdale, Southport, which has been valid at any time during 2020.
B) Information held relating to the width of the footway [being part of the maintainable highway], in Alma Road, Birkdale, Southport, particularly in the area adjacent to and fronting numbers 61 to 73 Alma Road, (retail premises trading as Spar store).
C) Information held, including a copy of any correspondence from the landowner, relating to the designation of the paved area outside the above address [the forecourt], being designated as part of the highway, in addition to the footway at the side of the carriageway. This is the area between the building line and the redline shown in the planning application map DC_2019-00185-location_plan-1940036, on the Sefton Planning portal, which indicated a difference between the footway and the forecourt; an area which the Land Registry still designates as part of 61 to 73 Alma Road and not part of the highway.
Yours faithfully,
D. Jackson.
