Traffic enforcement centre: out of time witness statements

The request was successful.

Dear Her Majesty’s Courts and the Tribunals Service,

Please can you provide the following information:

1. How many applications were made for out of time witness statements or statutory declarations in each
calendar year as far back as records go?

2. Disregarding any reviews by district judges, how many of these applications were refused by the court officer?

3. Disregarding any reviews by district judges, how many of these applications were accepted by the court officer?

Yours faithfully,

Tom Evans

(For clarification, the above request refers to traffic enforcement debts, i.e. TE witness statements and PE declarations.)

Yours sincerely,

Tom Evans

Dear Ms Richards,

There appears to be some confusion. My last message concerns a freedom of information request, not a penalty charge.

The sequence of correspondence can be viewed here: http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/92...

I am waiting for a review into whether the figures supplied are correct or incorrect, since they do not match those given in a previous request.
