Traffic and Pedestrian Impact of Battersea Power Station Development to Chelsea Bridge and South Chelsea

The request was successful.

Dear Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea,

The development of Battersea Power Station at the south end of Chelsea Bridge will increase vehicle, pedestrian and cycle traffic in the southern part of Chelsea (south of Kings Road). 1) vehicle impact studies of this development to traffic in RBKC

2) analysis of pedestrian traffic on Chelsea Bridge, Chelsea Bridge Road & Lower Sloane Street

3) analysis of cycle traffic to this development from RBKC (including any dedicated cycle routes )

4) any provisions being made for safe pedestrian travel from the development to Sloane Square tube station, the closest station to Chelsea Bridge

5) any provisions being made for safe cycle travel from the development to Sloane Square

Yours faithfully,

M.F. Doyle

Dear McCool, James: TTS-TransHighways: RBKC,

Thank you for your response. The information you provided from Wandsworth council is interesting but does not address traffic on Chelsea Bridge Road nor key access roads in RBKC to the north.

If I may, can I ask you to confirm RBKC has not conducted its own analysis of traffic (pedestrian, cycle or vehicle) travelling to Battersea Power Station development . Many thanks.

Yours sincerely,

M.F. Doyle
