Dear Foi,

"removal or rectification of this data"?

So it just happens to be a mistake that the scottish courts are registered, trading, and have shareholders on the largest credit reference agencies in the world? And anybody can purchase the credit reports.

What do the courts have that is valuable in order to trade with as a corporation that attracts investors.

Yours sincerely,

pat kalis

Ms Kalis,

The Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service (SCTS) is an independent body corporate established by the Judiciary and Courts (Scotland) Act 2008. As such, it does not trade as a corporation and does not have investors or shareholders. Further information on the SCTS can be found at http://www.scotcourts.gov.uk/

It should be noted that your enquiry does not fall under the Freedom of Information regime.

It may be helpful if I explain that the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 gives individuals and organisations the right to access all types of recorded information held, at the time the request is received, by public authorities such as the SCTS. This right applies to information held and does not create a right to obtain advice or analysis.

Kind regards

"The Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service (SCTS) is an independent body CORPORATE established by the Judiciary and Courts (Scotland) Act 2008". And according to the scottish courts website? Eric McQueen is the Chief Executive Officer. They are registered as corporation as l have just checked. Everything is a registered corporation on dnb and l doubt their would be any mistakes. l might just purchase their reports.
