Dear Ms Blackmann,

Thank you for your email of 10 February 2011 where you requested
information about British Nuclear Fuels Limited (BNFL).

I am writing to advise you that we are currently going through the final
stages of wind down of the BNFL. The entity no longer has any employees or
ongoing operating functions, therefore the answer to questions 1, 6 and 7
is nil.

To our knowledge BNFL has never funded unions centrally, relations with
the unions were handled at the operating sites .These sites are no longer
owned or managed by BNFL and so if you have not already done so you would
need to contact them directly (eg Sellafield Limited) as they would
hold any relevant information .

If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have the
right to ask for an internal review. Internal review requests should be
submitted within two months of the date of receipt of the response to your
original letter and should be addressed to: Marilena Ioannidou at
Shareholder Executive, 1 Victoria Street, London SW1H 0EH.

Please remember to quote the reference number above in any future
communications.

Kind regards,

Marilena
