REQUEST:

 

We are creating a database of Tower blocks in the UK.

 

Please could you disclose:

 

- The names and street addresses (including postcode) of all residential
blocks of 6 storeys or more within your borough/district.

- Details of who currently owns and manages each of these blocks.

 

 

RESPONSE:

 

Arun District Council confirms that it does not have any residential tower
blocks over 6 storeys or more.

 

 

 

If you are dissatisfied with the way your request for information has been
handled, you can write asking for a review of the Council’s response,
within the next two months, to the Information Management Team at: Arun
District Council, Arun Civic Centre, Maltravers Road, Littlehampton, West

This answer is nonsense as you did not mean just under the ownership of Arun did you? Kingmere in Littlehampton and Fitzleet House in Bognor Regis are two examples of tower blocks well over 6 storeys in Arun.

It is quite kind to say that this answer is nonsense. It is either deliberately misleading or extraordinarily ignorant. The enquirer did not say or even imply that he was asking solely about tower blocks owned or managed by Arun.
