Freedom of Information Act 2000
Thank you for your request received on 18 May 2021 by email where you have requested for the
following information:
Dear Northern Ireland Housing Executive, "Tower Block Action Plan was approved by "The
Housing Executive's board in March 2019 and was referred to the Department for
Communities for its consideration and endorsement. I would like the up-to-date business
case for Ferndale House, Dunmurry.
We are dealing with your request under the terms of the above legislation.
In line with government advice on the management of the coronavirus outbreak, it has become
necessary to make changes in the way we deliver our services. These changes are intended to
protect our customers and our staff while ensuring we continue to provide essential services.
As members of staff are working from home where possible, we are currently limited in our ability
to complete responses to Freedom of Information requests.
Whilst it is our intention to issue a response to Freedom of Information requests within the statutory
timeframe, due to the current situation we are limited in our ability to do so. Given the
unprecedented times that we are all working and living in, we would ask for and appreciate your
understanding in this matter.
In some circumstances a fee may be payable, however if that is the case, we will let you know the
likely charges before proceeding.
