Dear Suzanne Prescott,

Thanks for supplying part of the information requested.

We also requested other information which has not been supplied, despite you acknowledging the request for it.

We asked: "Also, please provide us with actual figures from any revenue/income generated from holding the Tour de Yorkshire. We do not request estimated figures, just actual figures for revenue/income generated."

Can you please supply those figures, or confirm whether CMBC does not hold such information (and is thus unable to ascertain whether the Tour de Yorkshire represents value for money)?

Yours sincerely,

Calderdale Against Corruption

Dear Calderdale Against Corruption

Please accept my apologies - I am very sorry, I omitted to answer that
part of your request.

I can confirm that Calderdale Council does not hold any actual figures
from any revenue/income generated to Calderdale from holding the Tour de
Yorkshire.

Locally we do not hold any economic impact information as it is all
collated at a regional level.  There is anecdotal information received
from local businesses that in 2018 the Woolshops footfall was up by 20% on
race day.

For further information purposes please see the following links to the
2017 and 2018 total economic impact figures – research carried out by
Leeds Beckett University and published online by them and Welcome to
Yorkshire.

I hope this is of assistance and apologise once again for not including
this information in my original response.
