Total number of turnstiles in the London Underground, and their size

We're waiting for Antoine Béchard to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear Transport for London,

Could you please tell me how many turnstiles are there in all of the London Underground stations? The answer would be very helpful, because I need to know the minimal width where every subway passenger has to walk on. It is why I also would need the size of a turnstile, especially its width. If you could find me the total number of subway entrances, it would be perfect!

Yours faithfully,

Antoine Béchard
