Total number of positive covid-19 PCR test by testing centre by number of cycles by month.

We're waiting for Paul Perrin to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear Office for National Statistics,

I understand that you have a complete dataset of positive covid-19 PCR tests that cannot be released as it may identify individuals.

Accordingly, I would like aggregate data from this dataset (so there is no risk of individual identification.

The data I require is as follows (preferably in digital format)
Testing Centre, Month, PCR Cycle Count, Total Number of Positive Covid-19 cases.

Yours faithfully,

Paul Perrin

Dear FOI Team,

Your reply does not address my request in any way. The clock is so ticking, so please reread my request and reply as you are required to by law, giving the sum of positive pcr tests by number of cycles as per my original request.

If you have any difficulty in understanding my request, please don't hesitate to to am for my assistance.

Yours sincerely,

Paul Perrin

Dear Paul,

Thank you for your email.

Please see the following link to our published response to your FOI, which was included in our response email to you: https://www.ons.gov.uk/aboutus/transpare...

This response provides all the information we hold in scope of your request, regarding the number of positive COVID-19 tests from our COVID-19 Infection Survey (CIS), Ct values, and reported estimates of percentage testing positive.

Our response also states that we do not hold complete data of every positive COVID-19 PCR test, as we only hold data from our samples from the CIS. Public Health England (PHE) are responsible for all PCR testing, and therefore would be best placed to answer you query.

We hope this helps to clarify our response and apologies for any misunderstanding caused by our original reply. If you have any further questions please get back in touch.

Kind regards,
Lois
