Dear Governance,

I would urge you to review my requests again. You have a complaints procedure & therefore must hold records of the types of complaints you recieve. I request information relating to suicides with Cafcass' involvement since 2001, not the overall UK figures that not related to Cafcass' involvement.

Yours sincerely,

George Small

Dear Governance,

Upon reading your response, I will take this as a refusal to provide the information requested. You have listed apparent categories in which you claim to collect data, which are not categories & the response has been designed to deceive. I now request an internal review.

George.
Having had experience of this farcical organisation for a number of years, both as a service user and as a Mckenzie Friend, it has been easy to ascertain that Cafcass' complaints department has been inadequate for a number of years now.
It has also been made aware to me that Cafcass doesn't file negative complaints against them in an appropriate way. It is an organisation that has twisted it's last Ofsted report to look in their favour, but the reality is of it, is that it still isn't up to an acceptable standard, albeit them claim to be and are milking one particular section.
As for the lying in court. Like Sadiq Khan says about terrorism in London City, it is part and parcel of everyday life, same applies to Cafcass lying in court. However, lies can only be proved by evidence and whilst the majority of Cafcass service users are aware of Cafcass not documenting correctly, their lies usually remain in tact due to the person(s) not being able to prove other wise. Rest assured, it is very very common for Cafcass to be untruthful in their documents submitted to court. Untruthful to a degree, that in some cases, it has caused extreme damage between the two parents, that when one parent responds to such lies, Cafcass will twist it and say that because of such, it is damaging to the children and therefore contact is not recommended. Of course, once the damage has been done and the lies have been proven to be lies, that's it, game over usually. In some cases, although the lies have been proven to be such, the person documenting such, hasn't got the balls to apologise themselves to the service user and an apology comes from higher above, shocking eh! That's a bit like one of your parents apologising for something you have done wrong eh George. Of course, I can also come to the conclusion that lies are also said as to further line the pockets of a Solicitor, as in some cases, people are represented in court, and of course, if you are, then it is highly likely that the Solicitor will be rubbing their hands together and the chance of making a few extra thousand.
A Solicitor once told me in person that Cafcass will lie in court, but I must rise above it and accept it for what it is and that I should not complain against them whilst the proceedings are live, as they will not like that and will do their utmost to close you down and that I should complain after the final hearing. Oh how true that Solicitor was, thank you Stan.
What you may also find interesting George, is that if you take matters further to the PHSO and get a decent case officer, you'll find that they may say to you that without Cafcass complaints, they'd have much less to do. The case officer I spoke to was very informative and seemed to side with my concerns.......shame that the final outcome wasn't like that.
And on a signing off note George, if I could have £1 for every-time I have seen a letter from Cafcass' complaints department saying that they will no longer be dealing with such as such complaint is vexatious, then I would be financially much better off. Quite incredulous and perturbing.

If you also have time, have a flick through these requests to Cafcass and you'll see for yourself that many others have raised issues regarding the lies. Other than the good money they get, I for one cannot understand their process theory and why they chose to do this job.

And also, if you carry on with the complaints, Cafcass will continue to chuck their toys out of their prams and will put you on their block list and threaten you with Police action. I am on that list.
