Request for Information - 2019/1700 - Tooting Bec athletics track

I refer to your request for information received on 16/09/2019. Please see
the information below in response to your request: -

Please could you:

a.       Tell me the number of people who have attended the public
sessions at Tooting Bec Athletics Track each year?

Visits at Tooting Bec Athletics track during the 2018/19 year (1 April
2018 to 31 March 2019) totalled 82959.

b.       How many times the Athletics track has been hired each year by
groups, businesses or clubs?

Schools: 44

Clubs: 10

Other: 4

c.       How many of these (b) hires were for sporting/running use?

All of the above were sporting/running related bookings.

d.       How much in total did the most recent refurbishment of the
athletics centre cost, and how funding was provided

£130,167.25 for the last major refurbishment at Tooting Track.

Grant funded by Sport England’s Community Investment Fund, carried out and
completed in March 2015.
