Dear Ms Crowther,

Freedom of Information Request F20-421

Thank you for your request for information as copied below. You have asked
for copies of all correspondence relating to three events held at the
House of Commons.

In the first instance, it may help you to know that the events you have
asked about were not organised by the House of Commons. They were
organised by third-party organisations and sponsored by either individual
MPs or individual Peers. The only involvement of the House is providing
venues for events, meaning that the only information that we hold is about
them relates to the booking of those venues.

 1. Event title: GTNF, Date: 10^th September 2018, Sponsor: Ian Paisley Jr
MP, On behalf of: Global Tobacco Networking Forum
 2. Event title: Tackling Illegal Tobacco Sale, Date: 4^th June 2019,
Sponsor: Ian Paisley Jr MP, On behalf of: DoDd Parliamentary
Communications Ltd
 3. Event title: Report Launch: Tobacco Harm Reduction, Date: 18^th
December 2018, Sponsor: Viscount Ridley, On behalf of: ABZED

Some information is held by the House of Commons in relation to your
request. This information, which relates to the booking of the venues for
these events, is attached to this email.

Some information has been redacted from the documentation attached. This
includes the names, signatures and contact details of staff of the House
of Commons and of third-party organisations. This information is exempt by
virtue of section 40 (2) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA), as
disclosure of this information to the public generally, in the House’s
view, would not be consistent with data protection principles in Article 5
of the General Data Protection Regulations. This is an absolute exemption
and the public interest test does not apply.

You may, if dissatisfied with the handling of your request, complain to
the House of Commons. Alternatively, if you are dissatisfied with the
outcome of your request you may ask the House of Commons to conduct an
internal review of any decision regarding your request.  Complaints or
requests for internal review should be addressed to: Information Rights
and Information Security Service, Research & Information Team, House of
Commons, London SW1A 0AA or [1][House of Commons request email].  Please ensure
that you specify the full reasons for your complaint or internal review
along with any arguments or points that you wish to make.

If you remain dissatisfied, you may appeal to the Information Commissioner
