To provide the costs of the 2019 Reviews of Electoral Arrangements for Argyll and Bute, Highland, Na h-Eileanan an Iar, North Ayrshire, Orkney Islands and Shetland Islands Council areas

The request was successful.

Dear Local Government Boundary Commission for Scotland,

Please provide the total costs to date of the process to review the 2019 Electoral Arrangements for Argyll and Bute, Highland, Na h-Eileanan an Iar, North Ayrshire, Orkney Islands and Shetland Islands Council areas.

In addition please provide the analysis of each council area in a breakdown of staff costs, consultations, IT facilities, publicity, production of the reviews and all other related costs.

I am the Secretary of the Sleat Community Council in the south of Skye in the Highland Council region and submitted on our area's behalf our opposition to your totally unjust recommendation to reduce the Elected Members for Skye and Raasay by one to just three. You will be aware that Skye's MSP Kate Forbes has already expressed her concern for your recommendation given the importance of Skye with an emerging economy, and the second most popular tourism area in Scotland.

Yours faithfully,

Rob Ware

Dear Boundaries Scotland,

Thank you for supplying the information requested in a very comprehensive document.

The delay was caused by the simple fact that 'What Do They Know' did not have the new Boundaries Scotland email address for the request.

This has now been fully resolved and I am content with the information supplied.

Thank you to Boundaries Scotland for their contribution.

Yours faithfully,

Rob Ware
