Dear Health and Care Professions Council,

In January 2018, Yvonne Thomas was convicted at Liverpool Crown Court for a number of offences against elderly and vulnerable adults conducted whilst she was practising as chiropodist.

Yvonne Thomas was not HCPC registered.

Jailing her for six years, Judge Alan Conrad, QC told Thomas: “You are a persistent and predatory burglar. You have previously served custodial sentences for house burglaries.

“In this case you have targeted victims who are extremely vulnerable due to their age and or their disability.”

Please provide:

1) All notes and correspondence concerning Yvonne Thomas, including cease & desist letter.
2) all warning notices and guidance concerning her unregistered chiropody practice.
