Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I kindly request the following information in the context of domestic waste bin/sack collection services, as opposed to trade/commercial collections or waste disposal.

1. Are you currently in a partnership with other councils for waste IT system operations or procurement? If in a partnership please name the partner councils?

2. Do you currently operate waste services (collections) directly, or through a waste contractor such as Biffa, Suez or Veolia. If through a contractor, please name them.

Dear DPatrick

1. Currently WDC is not in a joint waste partnership although this will
change from 01.08.22 when we will commence a joint waste contract with
Stratford-on-Avon District Council.
WDC does not belong to a Procurement partnership.
2. Currently WDC operates our waste service via Suez. From 01.08.22 it
will be via Biffa.
3. Currently WDC uses g. Other (Civica-APP and in house web development).
From 01.08.22 , WDC will use c. Whitespace and g. Other (Cloud9, Stratford
DCs in house CRM and website pages)
4. The Civica-APP contract is due to expire on 07.06.22 but is in the
process of being renewed for one further year. The Biffa contract starts
on 01.08.22 and will expire on 31.07.30
5. Grounds Maintenance: Civica-APP, plus mapping data is administered via
GGP-GIS and published via Civica Map Pro.
6. Street Cleansing: Civica-APP
7. Pest control: Civica-APP
8. Cemeteries: Epitaph
9. Playgrounds and play equipment: Not applicable
10. Geographic Information System (GIS) - GGP-GIS and Civica Map
11 Customer Relationship Management (CRM) - WDC does not have a CRM
solution
