Dear Mr Thomas,
Thank you for your email.
We will only be able to give you details of registered owners of land or
property if it is registered.
The process to find out who owns land or property will depend on whether
you have the full postal address for the property you are interested in.
Some pieces of land are difficult to identify without a postal address.
Please select the relevant option.
• [1]I have the full postal address of the property.
• [2]I do not have a full postal address of a property.
• [3]The land and/or property cannot be easily identified by a postal
address.
See [4]Is all land registered?
Yours sincerely
Natasha Cooper

Dear Customer Support (natasha cooper),
Please bare with me as im new to this. I have given the exact location of the land but it doesnt not appear to have a postcode. The nearest postcode to the waste land is CF38 2RT. I have taken the address given on your own website below:
https://eservices.landregistry.gov.uk/ww...
Address: Llantwit Main Farmhouse, land on the West and East side and land lying to the East of Llantrisant Road(B4595), Beddau.
If this is correct, could you please tell me if the land has been registered? If it has who has it been registered to.
Yours sincerely,

Dear Mr Thomas
Thank you for your further enquiry
If you are having difficulty locating the exact piece of land you will
have to do a search of the index map (SIM)
We will only be able to give you details of registered owners of land or
property if it is registered.
Please select the relevant option.
• [1]I have the full postal address of the property.
• [2]I do not have a full postal address of a property.
• [3]The land and/or property cannot be easily identified by a postal
address.
If the result of the SIM finds that the land is registered you will be
given a title number. Following the instructions below you will be able
to purchase a copy of the register which will give you the ownership
details.
Order title plans or registers online
If you have an address or [4]title number (our unique identifying
reference) for the property, you may use our [5]online property search.
Enter the postal address or title number of the property and once you have
registered for the service you can view and download an electronic copy of
its title register.
It costs £3 for the title register and £3 for a title plan, payable by
major credit or debit cards. The title register you download won't be an
'official copy' of the register so it can't be used as evidence in a
court.
Order title plans or registers by post
Alternatively, you can request an official copy of the register by
completing [6]form OC1 and posting it to us. Enter the details of the
land/property and the title number (our unique identifying reference) if
you have it, then enter your own details into the applicant fields. If the
land/property is registered, we will post you an official copy of the
title register. Official copies are admissible in court as evidence. The
fees for this service are £7 for an official copy of the title register
and/or £7 for an official copy of the title plan.
If you do not know the title number of the land/property you must write
'Please supply title number' at the head of [7]form OC1 . We will then
complete a search to establish if the property is registered.
We will reject applications with 'Please supply title number' written at
the head of the form if:
• they contain a non-postal address (for instance 'land on the west
side of High Street, Anytown' or '33 Cannon Road and land adjoining,
Anytown')
• they are accompanied by a plan that does not match the property
description
• they reveal more than five title numbers.
If we are unable to process your OC1 application, because we cannot
identify the land/property we will request that you apply for a 'search of
the index map' using form SIM. We keep a computerised map based on the
Ordnance Survey map. This map (the 'index map') provides an index of
registered land/property. We use this map to carry out a 'search of the
index map'.
The fee for this service is £4 when:
• no registered titles are revealed, or
• five or fewer registered title numbers are revealed.
If your search reveals more than five title numbers, the fee will vary
depending on the number of title numbers revealed.
Further information on how to lodge a SIM application is available in
[8]Practice Guide 10 – Official searches of the index map .
If the result of the search of the index map shows that the land/property
is registered, we will send you details of the title number(s) (our unique
identifying reference) of the land/property and once you have registered,
you may then apply for copies of the title register and/or title plan by
entering the title number you obtained from us using the 'Detailed
enquiry' tab on our online service [9]Find a property or by completing
[10]form OC1 and posting it to us.
[11]Find out where to send your registration applications.
Yours sincerely
Margaret Watson
