Full details of all refuse collections made across Brighton and Hove
BHCC has 12 refuse collection crews who collect 5 days a week. The number of roads/streets for each day will vary on each route depending on the workload for that route. We collect refuse from approximately 123,000 homes each week which includes blocks of flats and communal bins. All households normally have their refuse collected at least weekly. Refuse collection crews normally consist of a driver and two loaders and most staff are contracted to work 41 hours.

Producing a report as per the request.
The service experienced significant disruption, particularly in the period after Christmas. The disruption was largely due to insufficient staff being available to work on Saturdays to catch up after the Bank Holidays.

Because of the disruption we were unable to accurately record the number of missed collections and we are unable to provide the detailed data requested. We apologise for the disruption to the service and are working hard to prevent these problems from recurring.
