Since 1st January 2010 to 30th September 2010 Could you provide;

a) the number of Freedom of Information Requests you have received
b) the number of requests answered within 20 days
c) the number of requests refused
d) the number of internal reviews carried out
e) the number of staff in the department which administers FoI requests
f) the cost of administering FoI requests.

This information should be provided in electronic format, ie excel spreadsheet.

Thank you for your request for information about FOI requests. Your request was received on 1st October 2010 and I am dealing with it under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

- 199 (out of 679 closed)

Note: These figures include requests where the information is not held, an
exemption applies, where the request exceeds the statutory cost threshold
and where no response was received from the department holding the
information.

d) the number of internal reviews carried out

- 61

e) the number of staff in the department which administers FoI requests

- 1 FTE.

f) the cost of administering FoI requests.

- Stoke-on-Trent City Council does not hold this information as the volume
of work carried out in the relevant Directorates is not recorded.
