Q1: Please can you provide the total amount of offences reported to The Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS) in each of the past five years - 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022.
Q2: Please can you provide the total amount of offences reported to The Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS) that were ‘Time Barred’ as reported outwith the statutory time limit specified by law in each of the past five years - 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022.

issued.
What are the timescales?
If your request is managed under the Freedom of Information Scotland Act
2002 we will respond:
• within 20 working days from the first working day after receipt of
your request
or
• within 20 working days from the first working day after receipt of
your clarification of any specific points.
