NEYH Freedom of Information, Home Office

Dear Mr Suleman

Thank you for your email correspondence of 23rd and 27th December. We are handling your enquiry routinely outside of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

As outlined in my response of 23 December, we cannot easily access the requested information from our Case Immigration Database. We cannot easily access information about Tier 1 (Post Study Work) applications where applicants provided letters from their respective colleges, informing us that students have completed their courses and awaiting results and degrees from their respective Universities. To obtain this information would require the manual search and cross-referencing of all relevant records held since the 6 April 2012. This would exceed the cost limit. I am therefore unable to comply with your request.

Although you are in your right to make a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, in this instance, I have decided to handle your request routinely as I am unable to provide you with additional information under the Act.

Kind regards
