Tier 1 (General) Highly Skilled Visa - Nationalities

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Home Office should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Home Office,

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to request the following information.

Details of information required:

(a) Of the people from March 2008 to April 2015 who were granted a Tier 1 (General) Highly Skilled Visa, how many refused Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) on the basis of clause 322(5) have previously been convicted of a criminal offence?

(b) Of those in (a) above, what are the i) nationalities and ii) numbers of people of these nationalities who have previously been convicted of a criminal offence?

I understand that it is my right to receive your response within 20 working days of your receipt of this request.
