Three arm roundabout proposals

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Kent County Council should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Kent County Council,

In regards to the possible "three arm" roundabout at A229 Linton Hill / A229 Staplehurst Road / B2079 Maidstone Road. According to a developer's proposal document for a housing development in Marden, "this junction is proposed to be upgraded from a priority junction to a three-arm roundabout, increasing capacity and addressing congestion issues."

Please send me a copy of any documents related to this, including:
1. A copy of any communications between DHA Transport / DHA Planning and KCC;
2. A copy of any plans or proposals; and
3. A copy of any Transport Assessment or other viability assessments.

I am making this request under the EIR.

Please note that I have filed multiple EIR requests but they relate to different roads around Marden.

Yours faithfully,

David Windham

Dear Kent County Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Kent County Council's handling of my FOI request 'Three arm roundabout proposals'.

I do not believe this has been adequately assessed and am somewhat bemused by the Council's blase attitude to this EIR. You were able to provide me with copies of communications (redacted where necessary) for my other EIR request around 1 mile away from this scheme, and yet for this one there has been no attempt to provide any.

Please confirm, therefore, that by not providing this, it means that there has been NO communication nor correspondence on the proposed 'three arm roundabout on the A229' , between the proposers and KCC.

I find this difficult to believe, so am requesting an internal review as I don't believe this EIR has been assessed rigorously enough, if at all.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/t...

Yours faithfully,

David Windham
