Threatened with homelessness - Section 21 notices

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Barnet Borough Council should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Barnet Borough Council,

Since May 2018 councils have had a certain homeless duty (the "prevention duty") triggered when a person is eligible and threatened with homelessness. Threatened with homeless now includes being issued with a Section 21 notice.

For every month since May 2018 to present, please confirm the number of households who have approached the council seeking homeless assistance due to receiving a Section 21 notice.

Yours faithfully,

Jo Staines
