Thornhill Park and Ride Extension works sign off process
Dear Oxfordshire County Council,
Recently, the Thornhill Park and Ride site in Oxford has been extended by a private contractor under the supervision of Oxfordshire County Council. I would appreciate a few details on the process whereby completion of the work was agreed.
1) Was there a fixed date for completion of the work?
2) Was there a checklist produced to ensure that the works had been completed? If so can this checklist be provided.
3) Is there any provision in place for remedying any defects in works carried out and if so what is this provision, for how long does it run for and who should be contacted to get these defects remedied?
4) Was any testing done of street lighting and was it under the remit of the contractor who carried out the works to ensure that all street lighting within the Park and Ride site was working at time of completion of the extension works. This includes both new lighting installed by them and existing lighting already at the site which was working prior to the extension works.
Thank you in advance for your assistance with this.
James Halinson
