Third party reporting of traffic offences and means of disposal for offences on 11 February 2023

The request was successful.

Dear Essex Police,

Please provide me with an up-to-date data set showing date, time, location street, location town, offence description/care make/ care model/category/type, and disposal method at a minimum for each individual alleged offence submitted by third parties online to report road traffic incidents / alleged traffic offences with supporting video/dashcam/helmet cam or similar footage with an offence date of 11 February 2023. If information is not held for NFA'd allegations/reports then okay to exclude those (as this was mentioned by Essex police as something that will take manual time in my FOI request for which an interval review was conducted - https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/t...).

Please add your case reference number if possible too but no need if there are concerns about this.

I am essentially looking for data in a similar form supplied by the Met police as per the below link which the Met provided against another FOI request as below.

https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/9

Also Herfordshire police provided similar data here:
https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/t...
https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/1...

Yours faithfully,

Sarah Khan

Dear Essex Police,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Essex Police's handling of my FOI request 'Third party reporting of traffic offences and means of disposal for offences on 11 February 2023'.

The requested information is not personal information and the authority should feel free to redact / remove any particular fields for eg unique case number. Other police forces do publish data at an individual offence level with the outcome of the case and car make model date time and location The met has also released this exact information previously as has Herefordshire constabulary and so have multiple others. Links to these were provided in the original request. Additional links where other police forces provide the same information can be provided if helpful. Some publish indiviual offence level data on their website of third party reports of bad driving.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/t...

Yours faithfully,

Sarah Khan
