Thieves

The request was successful.

Dear Greater Manchester Police,

I want the details of unopened cans and bottles of alcohol stolen by the police from adults in public during 2014 and 2015. One episode of The Force on Sky clearly showed an officer stealing alcohol from a member of the public in Manchester. What happens to the alcohol the police steal, do they consume it? sell it? destroy it? Are the cans and bottles recycled?

Yours faithfully,

Leanne Burgess
