James Spencer-Gray

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Could you please confirm that it was mandatory for everyone to be allocated to the Work Programme, without exception, as and when the had registered as unemployed for the designated period of time, regardless of the individuals education, age, financial status or even if the individual had been in continuous employment for in excess of thirty years.

Or was the correct Referral Basis designed to ascertain if an allocation would be of any benefit to the individual and therefore could not be construed as a "punishment" but as a positive step in assisting the training and education of the individual.

Could you also confirm that it was deemed that those allocated could only benefit from the ENTERPRISE ALLOWANCE to become self-employed whilst previously before being allocated this allowance could be used to form a limited company as well as becoming self-employed.

Yours faithfully,

James Spencer-Gray

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Department for Work and Pensions's handling of my FOI request 'The Work Programme'.

How can the question be deemed vexatious as it could easily be answered quoting public domain government documentation and reference to court judgements.

Are you trying to conceal something and I refer you to your own declarion, your ref: - FOI 2018/04471 which states that the DWP does NOT run any Back to Work Schemes where individuals are asked to work for FREE.

Hence how can my original question be deemed as VEXTIOUS unless the legally binding statement, as above, was a lie!

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/t...

Yours faithfully,

James Spencer-Gray

Am I the only one to question when any request for transparancy concerning the Work Programme is rejected under the basis the DWP deem it to me vexatious!

amazingly yet again the DWP refuse to answer a question and yet again quoting the term the question was vexatious.

so public domain information can not be believed!
