The truth about the LGO's complaince rates!

The request was successful.

Dear Sir or Madam,

Following the earlier Freedom of Information request below

http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/wr...

I was informed that the information held by Communities and Local Government (CLG) is that the compliance for 2006-2007 and 2007-2008 was 100%, and that this information was supplied to CLG by the LGO. You also suggested that I contact the Local Government Ombudsman as to the source of the information.

As suggested in your response I submitted a Freedom of Information request to the LGO.

They assure me that the statistics they provided to your office clearly shows that the compliance rates were not 100%.

Therefore, I would like a copy of any and all documentation/information/meeting notes used by yourselves when constructing the misleading dossier that Number 10 eventually based their response to Wilma Wright's petition on.

Yours faithfully,

Trevor R Nunn

Not the first government department that provided Number 10 with a dodgy dossier which they could mislead the public with.

Dear Vanita Patel,

Thanks you for the information so far. Before I consider requesting an internal review can you confirm if you are you going to supply a copy of the email to Steve McAllister in which the LGO confirm their compliance rates were 100% and if not why not?

Yours sincerely,

Trevor R Nunn

Dear Sir or Madam,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Department for Communities and Local Government's handling of my FOI request 'The truth about the LGO's compliance rates!'.

I asked for a copy of any and all information not just an explanation.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address:

Yours faithfully,

Trevor R Nunn
