The mythical "Liability Orders"where are they???

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Isle of Anglesey County Council should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Isle of Anglesey Council,
Anglesey Council have issued "Liability Orders" against myself for council tax arrears.
Even though I have asked to be sent a copies of the said liability orders on several occasions, even being promised in the Courtroom by Margaret Bishop of the Revenues department of your council, that she would provide this, nothing has been forthcoming. She eventually admitted at another hearing that they "do not exist in a physical form". Please explain what form they do exist in, as I have just been charged £40.00 for each . If it is a fact that these documents do not exist then is this would appear to be a criminal offence under the Fraud Act 2006 and perjury. Furthermore how do the council lawfully enforce something that does not exist. Surely I will be entitled to have a refund if these L/Os do not exist ? If they do exist ( they must exist to lawfully enforce them) were can I have sight of them. I have asked this question many times by letter and never had a response.
I require a full response to this by your legal department, that will in turn name the responding officer , that will assume full liability for the response.
A lack of a full response may be conceived as an admission of wrongdoing.

Yours faithfully,

Richard

Dear Isle of Anglesey Council,
Please acknowledge receipt of the f.o.i question, and that I require an answer to this on or before 24 November.

Yours faithfully,

Richard

Dear Isle of Anglesey Council,
This really should not take as long to answer as this. I have attempted to obtain an answer to the question by telephoning your revenues and benefits dept. However I was told to put the questions in writing. This I have obviously done, and you still have not so much as acknowledged . You send out hundreds of these a year , to which you make tens of thousands of pounds. Surely you must know in what form they exist. I require to able to see an original document that pertains to be the issued order of liability.

Yours faithfully,

Richard

Dear Isle of Anglesey Council,
This is now overdue. Please answer in full immediately.

Yours faithfully,

Richard

Dear Isle of Anglesey Council,
you are acknowledging and answering requests that you have been submitted well after mine. You are required by law to have addressed this by now. NOW PLEASE DO SO, FULLY.

Yours faithfully,

Richard

Legal Policy,

Dear Mr Creathorne,

Apologies for the late response.

However, the Council has received a letter with substantially similar content which leads us to believe that you are the author of that letter. As it is anticipated that responding to your FOI would require disclosure of information that is personal to the author of the letter we have decided to provide a full response under FOI to the author of the letter. Otherwise the Council would be entitled to refuse the request contained in the letter as it is repeated.

Where a request relates to information relates to information about an individual, particularly where the individual is the applicant, it is often more appropriate for the FOI to be submitted directly to the Authority rather than through the medium of websites such as thus. The reason being that information relevant to the individual can be supplied in a direct response whereas it would require redaction on publically available websites.

The letter dated 24.11.14 has been registered as an FOI request and a response will be sent to the author within 20 working days.

Regards

Beryl Jones
Information Compliance Officer.

Dear Legal Policy,
You would do far better to address the question rather than playing detective. Margaret Bishop was advised that there had been a freedom of request made via this site in a telephone conversation. It was she who insisted that a request for information was made in writing, but she failed to respond. Richard Micklewright failed to answer the question, as did Geraint Jones. If there is anybody at Anglesey Council that could now, for the record declare that Liability Orders exsist or not then please do so.. A simple YES or NO will suffice. Oh yes , and of course where the elusive animal may be seen.
Now come on it cannot be that difficult. Remember you charge £40.00 for them.

Yours sincerely,

Richard

Dear Legal Policy,
I think now, after the amount of time it has taken, not to obtain a satisfactory answer to this simple question it is safe to be able to declare without contest that there is no such document or anything physically available to be called a LIABILITY ORDER .
£40.00 for nothing then.

Yours sincerely,

Richard
