The Mental Health Hospital Discharge Protocol between the Borough Housing Department and NHS partners, including appendices, forms and any guidance

We're waiting for Robert Sale to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear Brent Borough Council,

I am a member of the Harrow (mental health service) Users Group. We have been successful in getting a review of the Harrow protocol agreed; this document is the subject of an outstanding FOI request which I am pursuing. Each of the other 7 councils in the NW London CCG area (Brent, Hillingdon, Ealing, Hounslow, Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea, Westminster) are operating under their own protocol.
In carrying out such a review it seems obvious to look at the other protocols to see what examples of ‘best practice’ they might contain. This would also help us as service users to contribute to the process in the spirit of ‘co production’, an approach supposedly adopted by many if not all of the authorities involved.
These documents are clearly identifiable and my initial conversations with the Information Commissioners Office helpline suggest there are no obvious reasons why they should not be disclosed. Hence I look forward to hearing from you well before the deadline for a response is reached.

Yours faithfully,
Robert Sale
