Dear Shaun,

Please accept my apologies for delay in responding.

I have contacted relevant team in Scottish Water and received updated list and map in better resolution, please see attached.

All outfalls listed as being in public ownership in the legal status, which means that Scottish Water is responsible for the sewer.

In regards to sewer usage:

CSO - Combined Sewer Overflow - The purpose of the sewer is to operate when excessive amounts of surface water (rain water) are within the sewer network to protect the network from surcharging and potentially causing flooding to properties. The dilute sewerage is screened before it is discharged.

Treated Effluent - The purpose of the sewer is to discharge Final effluent from the Wastewater Treatment works to the appropriate Location.

If you have any queries regarding your FOI request please feel free to contact me and I will be happy to assist. You can do this by contacting the following email address [email address].
