The LAW

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Glasgow City Council should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Glasgow City Council,

I feel the need to ask a question & seeking an honest answer,
IN WHICH LAW DO SOCIAL WORKERS GO ON
AS THE CHILDREN & YOUNG PERSONS ACT
& cypa SCOTLAND are very wide and were the use & abuse of the true meaning of NEGLECT IS A VERY WIDE SPECTRUM
SURELY PARENTS HAVE A RIGHT TO PROVE THEMSELF BY GETTING THERE CHILDREN ASSESSED AND DIAGNOSED WITH NEGLECT ABUSE ECT
AND IF BEING ACCUSED OF ANY SORT OF NEGLECT TOWARDS ANY CHILD THEN THiS DEFINITELY SHOULD BE A CRIME.
SO WHY DO SOCIAL WORKERS NOT FOLLOW THE LAW OF THE LAND ?
AND INSTEAD THEY MAKE UP ALOT OF ABSOLUTE INSANE ALLIGATIONS AND ACCUSE PARENTS OF THINGS THAT WOULD NEVER ENTER Most “normal” persons minds
UNLESS LIKE SOCIAL WORKERS THEY DO IT TO OTHERS!! Or it’s been done to them!!
Also if a mum or a dad or a gran/granda is simply struggling in life as we all do at some point in our lives so why are social workers reluctant to support the parent or family’s in there time of need??
rather than robbing the whole family’s identity, happiness , and inheritance
- Why is it a crime if a mum loses control of her life and lands herself in a abusive relationship and then leaves the abuser why is the parent who has been abused
THE ONE THAT TAKES THE BLAME ??
The one who is treated like a criminal an animal and made to feel like it’s there fault?
And social services completely refuse to support these parents and are adopting children in public proceedings

Personally
I don’t think the children’s hearing is fit for or even cares about the well-being of any child and infact it’s all set up to suit social workers ...
I feel they children’s hearing system needs an investigation as it’s well and truley in the public’s interest
The kids are being held against there will and there parents will and being tore away from there loving parents and forced to form relationships with strangers (foster families)
Surely this is kidnap ??
Also are the children and parents being radicalised in state care as that’s how it all seems to look.
Also foster carers meeting birth parents out of social work hours
A lot of foster carers know parents prior to agreeing to look after the child(REN)
This is becoming more common and Foster carers have parents as friends on social media
But I would love to know exactly what law these people are going by as they seen to be exaggerating it as they go along
One social worker says one thing and another says another
So I’m thinking decisions are being made on a personal level

Yours faithfully,
D.Thomson

Dear Ms Thomson,

I refer to your enquiry to Glasgow City Council, the terms of which are
reproduced below.

To the extent that your communication asks any meaningful question, as
opposed to expressing your views, you appear to be asking what is the
legal basis of social work intervention in matters of child protection and
the support of children and their families in that context.

The information which you have requested is, in our opinion, exempt from a
request under section 1 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002
because of the exemption contained in section 25(1) of the Act.  In other
words, the information you are looking for is “reasonably accessible” to
you without having to make a formal section 1 request.  Specifically, the
information can be obtained on-line at the Government Website which gives
the details of all legislation applying in Scotland:
[1]http://www.legislation.gov.uk/browse/sco...  as well as the one which
details the 2014 National Child Protection guidance that is the basis of
social work Practice in this area for the whole of Scotland:
[2]https://www.gov.scot/binaries/content/do...

In terms of the remainder of your communication, the questions you pose
appear to be rhetorical ones based on your personal view of your personal
experiences. It would not be appropriate to attempt to answer these,
particularly since you are posting this enquiry by means of an open-access
website. Any attempt to answer these with respect to your personal
situation would risk breaching your confidentiality and the terms of the
Data Protection Act 2018. In addition, some of the content directly states
or implies that social workers themselves abuse children, invent
allegations, refuse to offer support and have no regard to the welfare of
children. These are clearly not proper enquires, but merely insulting and
false statements on your part which have no serious purpose and call for
no reasoned response.

On that basis I consider these further enquiries to be vexatious and, as
per section 14(1) of the Freedom Of Information (Scotland) Act 2002,
Glasgow City Council is not obliged to respond to these.

That concludes my consideration of your enquiry.

Dear Charlton, Jim (Social Work),
I don’t have any children who are adopted...
& I’m actually in a good place with social services
When I said they things that service workers have experienced I am referring to there line of duty on frontline and the things they must see in a daily I never ever said that social services were abusers your twisting my words
I was simply just curious as to why and when parents and foster families are now very open and as I’ve observed with some people I know who openly have conversations on social media with the there childrens Foster carer I just wasn’t aware this was allowed and I felt a need to ask.

Also I mentioned about mums who have landed them selfs in a domestic relationship and that there is no deniying that we are not supported like myself I was left for the wolf’s instead of protecting both me and my children I was left in danger I’ve begged for some kind of support however never got any,
However in departmental records say I have been offered support on a number of occasions by FACs which is not true I done a parenting assessment with FACs however I was being observed and no support was offered, it was a interrogation progress and I never did feel supported.
My situation started with some late comings in school and me not fully engaging
All I needed was a little bit of support rather than being criticised and separated from my children as since then it’s caused major adversity issues and I’m struggling to over come adversity as every time I am getting some where there is always a left wing or a working class normally local authorities who bring me back down with a bang and services do not take anything I say into consideration unless it’s something negative that they can hold on me.
And instead of constant criticism why can’t the department actually support parents to over come adversity the claim they do however what supports have I been offered if you check the record Ive not had any support and I’ve been begging for support

But it’s fine I’m clearly not going to get anywhere or any honest answers from you as you have taken my words and twisted them to try and paint a bad picture of myself claiming I say social workers are abusers NOT TRUE
EVERYONE IS HUMAN AND IN THE END WE ALL DIE
ASHES TO ASHES DUST TO DUST
BUT I TGINKS SUPPORTING EACH OTHER AND LIFTING AND EMPOWERING EACH OTHER IS BETTER THAN CRITICISING PARENTS WHO HAVE BEEN ABUSED
ALSO I FEEL LIKE IF SOCIAL SERVICES HAD BETTER PRACTICE TO WORK MORE EFFECTIVELY WITH PARENTS THEN IT WOULD all be a MUCH MORE POSITIVE experience FOR CHILDREN as I couldn’t imagine what children must feel when they hear social services day and treat there parents like crap I honestly couldn’t imagine how I would feel if I heard anyone speak down about my parents I just thing that the whole approach at the current time is not appropriate
If social services were doing right then why do they have such a awful reputation
People hear of social work and they are hiding fleeing moving it triggers mental health if we were supported we wouldn’t feel like we have to adapt our personalities to suit each worker
Anyway I will leave it at there but to make it clear no not from my own experience like I said I don’t have children who have been adopted.
And it’s not even being discussed

Yours sincerely,

Dionne thomson
