Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,
Please can you explain why the TV licencing law states that the public legally DO NOT need to inform TVL if they do not require a licence, but when a member of the public DID inform TVL of this 'no licence needed' status her details were sent to a 3rd party collection agency named AKINAKA.
Is informing of a NLN status and cancelling DD, following instructions on TVL website not the correct procedure?
After doing everything needed she still got AKINAKA trying to intimidate her by saying that she still owed 1 more month payment when she clearly didn't.
So can you please supply the process that needs to be done and alter the website accordingly (if current website is wrong) so the public are not misinformed.

Yours faithfully,

Linda Corbett

Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of British Broadcasting Corporation's handling of my FOI request 'The law'.
My original request was received by yourselves on 01/08/2019 which means I should have been sent a reply by yesterday 21/08/2019 at the latest. As no reply or explanation for any delay has been sent I would like an internal review as to why the BBC failed to do this.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/t...

Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of British Broadcasting Corporation's handling of my FOI request 'The law'.
I asked for the correct process on what the public needs to do, as doing what the website says doesn't seem to be correct. Following the process online seems wrong as this is getting genuine cancelled licencees details passed to a 3rd party debt collection agency.
